Dr. Scott Wyatt is an accomplished and highly recognized educator with 26 years of experience in various roles, including teacher, lead teacher, principal, and Area Director of Student Services. He has worked extensively in K-12 Alternative Education, Juvenile Court School Programs, and Special Education, CTE and ROP programs, as well as supervising the Toyota Learning Center at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. Currently, he chairs the San Bernardino Countywide Gangs and Drugs Task Force and actively serves on multiple committees at the county and state levels.
As a parent of two children who attended and graduated from the SBCUSD schools, Dr. Wyatt has been engaged in the community for over 25 years, volunteering on the District Advisory Committee, School Site Council, coaching, mentoring, and serving as PTO president at Richardson PREP HI Middle School.
Dr. Wyatt is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all children and families in the SBCUSD. He believes that by introducing innovative and advanced educational opportunities, students can access pathways to higher education and secure well-paying, in-demand jobs immediately after graduation.
Dr. Wyatt holds a Doctorate degree in Leadership for Education and Social Justice from the University of Redlands, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Education Administration and his Administrative Credential. His academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from CSUSB, a graduate certificate in Education Technology, a K-12 Clear Multiple Subject CLAD teaching credential, and an Emergency Credential in Mild to Moderate Special Education. Dr. Wyatt also earned his Master's in Governance from the California School Board Association, and he is currently attending the University of Southern California (USC) where he is completing their School Business Management Certification graduate program.

Honoring and celebrating our own hometown hero, Heisman Trophy winner, Cajon High School graduate, and starting quarterback for the Washington Commanders Jayden Daniels. Jayden did not get his letterman's jacket in high school. So he was awarded one from the SBCUSD and Board of Education! Congratulations Jayden, we are beyond proud of you!!!
